SNOW SHOES IN “PORT DEL COMTE” : the hole of “Bòfia”

The route with snowshoes to the hole of the Bòfia del Port del Comte can be faced in different places, but we propose you to put on your snowshoes at the Estivella car park (Clot de la Vall) and go up the Prat Piquer ditch to reach the meadow, and from there, the immense Bacies meadow, where if the snow has been generous, we will enjoy one of the largest and most important subalpine meadows of the Prepyrenees.

We will leave behind the enormous meadow, to go to the Poll waterfall, over the Font de Bacies, probably under the snow and we will reach the neck, from where we will go down to the hole of the Bòfia, between ski slopes of the Port del Comte resort.

We but, with our snowshoes we will follow the track down Ginebrosa, one of the tracks of the station that will lead us back to Coll de la Vall, point where we have started our route.
