Forat Negre Canyon in Vallcebre, Barcelona

We propose the descent of one of the most beautiful canyons in Berguedà, which usually carries a minimum amount of water all year round.

The Forat Negre de Vallcebre is an ideal descent for beginners in canyoning, as we will practice a lot of rappelling techniques, with beautiful descents up to 15 meters high, and we may also encounter some jumps.

The canyon conditions vary significantly depending on the year and the changes experienced during the periods of heavier rains, when the water stirs up the gravel in the riverbed, potentially making some jumps impracticable.

Moreover, it offers a balanced activity time in relation to the approach and return times. With an approach of 15/20 minutes, we reach the canyon access, and the return leaves us about 5 minutes from the car, or vice versa.
