SNOW SHOES IN PORT DEL COMTE: “el Mirador i les Morreres”

With the price of this outing, we will include a ski pass to go up and down with the main ski lift of the Port del Comte ski resort, with snowshoes in your hands, and only this start will be an experience for everyone.

The Querol chairlift will leave us at an altitude of 2,100 metres, where we will put on our snowshoes and start walking towards Coma Sentinella, a large meadow where on the most lonely days, if there are few people in the mountains, hopefully we will be able to see some groups of reindeer playing with the snow.

We will leave the meadow to gain altitude and climb Puig de las Morreres, at 2,211 metres, from where we will be able to enjoy absolutely spectacular views of the whole of central Catalonia, with the characteristic Montserrat massif as the protagonist, but also with the Collserola tower on the clearest days, and there are those who, on exceptional days, claim to have seen the island of Mallorca! Undoubtedly one of the best routes in the Port del Comte massif, ideal for making snowshoes with the family.

Difficulty: Introduction to snowshoeing

It could be your first snowshoeing trip.
Essential material:
 Mountain clothing
Trekking boot
Waterproof jacket
Sunglasses
Sun cream
Buff/cap according to time
Gaiters if available
Medium backpack (+/- 20L.)

Food: We recommend that you take at least one litre of water per person, because on hot days, dehydration can be important.
