SPEOLOGY IN BERGEDÀ: Rotger’s system

Go underground, take a step closer to speleology with this cave, which is one kilometre long!

The Rotgers system takes us through the woods of the Borredà municipality, halfway between east and Sant Jaume de Frontanyà, a few metres from the emblematic Romanesque church of Sant Sadurní de Rotgers, to the Berguedà region.

** Everyone who wants to make the visit to the cave of Rotgers, must be aware that this can not be their first visit to a cave, we want to make an insistent recommendation to all those who want to visit before hiring the visit to the Bòfia de Boixadera to have a first contact with the progression through narrow steps, or to go to a speleology club that accompanies them to some other cave of initiation.

NOTE: Although the activity is commercialized under the name of speleology, the visit to the caves proposed in no case supposes the practice of this sport with the use of the techniques that this would entail. The caves to which we offer visits have been selected because they are suitable for an immense majority of public, this if, without fear to the narrow spaces, and always it will be the guide who will lead us through these watching over the security of whoever wants to enjoy them.
